What’s the saying…Time flies when you are having fun? I can say it sure does (really it flies by even if you aren’t having fun). I think most of you would say the same thing. Here it is almost the month of June…before we know it the year is half gone.
What I can’t believe it’s two years ago this month that my husband, Marc and I traveled to Sedona during the pandemic and decided during that visit to make Sedona our permanent home. Complicated situation, and a long story short, but we had a long-distance relationship for years. I lived in NJ and his primary residence was Sedona. We had plans to eventually move to Sedona as that is where our hearts desired to be.
But, let me tell you…we had no idea we would be moving during the pandemic. But when all things align, and God/Spirit gives you the nudge…He opens the path…you know it’s time. So, we took the leap of faith and went all in and made Sedona our hometown.
When I teach classes and meet guests/clients who are traveling to Sedona, I am often asked, how long have you lived in Sedona. When I tell them I am originally from NJ, they are surprised...and it definitely leads to a longer conversation of…how did you get to Sedona....East Coast living and Sedona living is very different.
We all know things aren’t linear…right? Life has its ups and downs, its ins, and outs, and sometimes we lean in and trust the process. This is exactly what I did in May 2020…which guided me to be in Sedona. I knew in my heart ❤️ it was right, but all the "what IFs" came into my head…🙃
What IF I don’t like it? What if I can’t find a job? What if I miss my family? What IF I am disappointing others? And on and on. Remember, our brains/egos do this to protect us from what we haven't experienced (this is a whole other blog for another day). BUT…let's flip the running script in our heads.
WHAT IF…I did like it? What IF I found a great job? What IF I traveled to see my family when I missed them? What IF others supported me in my decisions? Flipping that script and talking to myself in this way helped ease the transition.
My point in sharing this with you is that we don’t have to wait for the “perfect” time to make things happen. The PERFECT time is NOW. We shouldn’t put our lives on hold waiting for the right moment for all things to align…whatever it is that you wish to manifest in your life is right here at your fingertips.
What do you want your life to look like in 3, 5, 10, 25 years from now? As I said…time is going fast…LIFE is going fast. I know if you pause and think about this, you see time has gone faster than you thought it would.
DO NOT WAIT…
➡️ To find that new job that makes you happier
➡️ To take that vacation you desire
➡️ To start a new relationship
➡️ To move to a more desirable location
➡️ To take the class that inspires you
➡️ To visit a loved one
➡️ To say I’m sorry
➡️ To work on your health
➡️ To do WHATEVER IT IS THAT RESTS ON YOUR HEART.
Your heart always knows the truth. No one is going to make it happen for you. YOU have to be the one to do this...to take action…and I know YOU got this! Remember, I am here cheering you on from the sidelines!
