I've walked in your shoes for a reason, and I believe it is so I can teach you how you can live your best life one breath at a time.
When searching for answers after facing several traumatic and life-altering events over the span of several years, I found a sense of purpose and meaning through the practice of meditation and yoga. The teachings of these two practices served as a healing modality and created a deep and radical shift physically, spiritually, and emotionally. They still serve as my anchor to this day. This shift in perspective has inspired me to create a space for sharing with others what I have learned. My goal is to encourage everyone to build a greater sense of inner peace and self-awareness.
Inspired by a passion for learning, Cheryl shares 15 years of experience in higher education and her triumph over personal tragedy, to help others in their search for spiritual, physical and emotional strength. Encouraging people to live their best life, one breath at a time through the practice of mediation and yoga, she teaches the physical and mental value of disconnecting, slowing down, and becoming more self-aware and mindful of everyday life.
Cheryl’s transforming journey of perseverance and patience has led her to find a sense of purpose and to create a healing and thoughtful space that serves as an anchor to others. It is through her story, positive attitude, and mission to spread peace and tranquility as a “soul-preneur,” that Cheryl has established Grit and Grace Meditation. Grit has helped Cheryl to survive her life journey—and her meditation practice brings her to a place of grace.
Cheryl resides in South Jersey and is happily married to her husband, Marc who lovingly supports and encourages her every day to follow her dreams. She looks forward to creating many lasting memories as they live their best lives together. In her free time, she loves spending time with her three grown children and her rescue dog, traveling adventures, sunny beach days, paddle-boarding, dark chocolate and delicious lattes. She holds steady with the belief you never stop growing in life and all your dreams can come true if you have the courage to pursue them!
