Sleep is essential because it enables our bodies to repair itself so you are ready to tackle another day. An adequate amount of rest is between 7-9 hours. If you are sleeping less then 7 hours you are NOT getting enough! According to the National Institute of Health, 70% of American adults report that they get an insufficient amount of sleep at least one night a month. Additionally, 11% report that they get insufficient every night!
Divine Sleep® is meditative, soothing and calming. It is heart opening and can help cultivate self-compassion, activate your dormant healing energy, assist in transforming limiting core beliefs, and help you recharge and catch up on rest and sleep.
Studies show that 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 2-3 hours of REM sleep.
Dress in loose clothing and bring your yoga mat, blanket, pillow and any props that help you to be comfortable.
